Algae Bio-Panel (Ongoing)

while working in a team, I understand my role within the bigger picture, ensuring that my work is done on time and to high standard through continual communication to stakeholders and teammates. This allowed me to aid in the development of an Algae Bio-Panel. through the lifespan of this project I:

• Fixed issues with the previous design, ensuring the internal temperature of the panel stayed below 30 Celsius even during hot Australian summer/Autumn days when the surface temperature of the lab went above 50 Celsius.

• Increased usability of the panel, cutting the time/effort taken to load the panel by half.

Through the course of the project, we developed a flow and temperature management system for the algae panel, this will then be used by the lead engineer, who’s attempting to use it as part of the greater panel system to monitor and test the growth of algae.
